Lemmy&Binky’s Wildlife Appeal
Bad news folks! It would seem that, thanks to the fungus B. dendrobatidis, frogs all over Australia are being wiped out! There’s a war brewing, and only the lively, carefree, marching songs of this little chap…

…is keeping the morale of the blighters up! I introduce to you the Eastern Banjo Frog, so-called because of it’s incredible banjo-playing prowess. However, all is not well. No, it would seem that even the Banjo Frog is not immune from the terror of the fungus. In fact, according to the Department of Primary Industries and Water in Tasmania, “the Eastern Banjo frog (Limnodynastes tasmaniensis) are also reported to have declined in numbers and range.”
And you know what that means? With less vocal range, there’ll be no more high-C’s in the frog chorus, and with fewer hit numbers concerts will have to be cut short. Morale will be severely damaged and the frog army may be in no fit state to fight.
Please, please, please… send all your money (apart from the £6, $10-ish that you’ll be spending on Gibbage) to Blue Peter and demand they take some action because frankly, we’re too lazy to.
