To be blunt, a dead pencil
Sunday, April 22nd, 2007You know how when you were a kid, the idea of making computer games was, like, the bestest thing ever? How you would come up with all manner of cool game ideas (that would actually have been shit) and (ironically) frittering away time in maths class (where you could have been learning about vectors and matrices and things useful to game development) drawing sprites on graph paper? And you know how when you get older you realise that making a game is actually quite tedious since most of the fun bits are done at the start - like the actual design of the thing, or animating the only character with boobs? Well, we at Lemmy&Binky have found the solution!
Yes, we have come up with a genuine once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. There are no opportunities more once-in-a-lifetimey than this! You see, at Lemmy&Binky Towers, we are constantly running out of pencils - and we need lots of pencils because of our high-tech approach to game design. Also, we’ve had literally a couple of offers from our literally several fans to help contribute to The Forgotten Element (mostly by offering to do all the fun stuff - yeah, you write our story ’cause a) we obviously haven’t written that yet, and b) designing a story is soooo much more tedious than writing tools, and drawing 300 frames of people walking). Then we realised how perfectly these two problems could be resolved - our need for pencils, our several fan’s want to help contribute to The Forgotten Element. Just contact this person (linky), get yourself turned into a pencil (or more precisely a box of about 10 pencils!), send yourself to us, and we will use said pencils in developing puzzles and wot-not for The Forgotten Element. We will even use the pencils to write you a personalised thankyou note! We can’t see any drawbacks to this plan at all - it’s the ultimate in recycling! (Did I just steal that line from South Park?)
